Puppy breath....

It was pouring rain, thunder and lightning all around, so I decided to skip the Tigers game (Sorry, guys, I like you, but not enough to sit outside in the cold, damp, wet &; gloomy day). So instead I paid a visit to 8 of my grandkids - yup, you read that right! 8 - 3 beautiful girls and 5 handsome fellas!!!

Off I went to Angie's house - the home of Tifari ridgebacks to see mama Foosa and the kids. The little buggers aren't all that little anymore! They are all over 5 pounds and are getting ready to move to their new digs in the family room (huge X-pen and close to the patio door for easier housebreaking training!)

Is there anything better than puppy breath and roly-poly puppies? I don't think so....enjoy the pics. I wish I had sound to go with the pictures. Hearing them squeak and cry and growl at each other is hilarious! Words don't do them justice :)

Lounging in the grass

The weather here is beautiful today and makes up for all the rain over the weekend. I figured since I had some time this afternoon before heading into work, Lazy Dog & I might as well head outside and enjoy the day with some lounging...

Marching on by

Lazy dog...(tried to recreate a photo we took of Cooper on his first day home, but I couldn't get the right angle. Close enough!)

I am loving my nook (and foot warmer!). I got a nook for my birthday, I wasn't sure if I would like it; thought I would miss turning the pages, the feel of the books, etc. I finally got to play with one at our local B&N and really liked it, so I ponied up the cash for one. It holds way more books than I think I'll ever read, access to many, many free ebooks, & I can loan out my ebooks nad even borrow ebooks from my library! Needless to say, I'm glad I took the e-reader plunge. I love that I don't need bookmarks anymore and don't have to worry about losing my page. And the latest update added Sudoku puzzles and chess to it (did I mention I'm a huge Sudoku nerd!)

Someone's ready for a walk (actually, it's most likely a treat he's after, but we are heading out for a walk instead!)

Kamp Kacela

We spent the yesterday afternoon at Kacela Ridgebacks, or "Kamp Kacela," as we like to call it. We had some bonus time with Jaivyn, Cooper and Bailey's son (and LJ, Jaivyn's 2-legged dad)! He is gorgeous and you can see both Cooper and Bailey in him. He's about 5 months old - that time when I love Ridgeback puppies! Their legs and ears are growing faster than the rest of them and they are all gangly and oh so "graceful" :)

Here's Jaivyn - ain't he beautiful!!
Playtime with daddy

While Mama Bailey looks on...

Bailey, Lisha, & Kaos watching the view from the deck. You may wonder why 3 ridgebacks that love to run are guarding the yard from the safety of the deck while it's sunny out.

Here's the answer:

Annika was "making it rain" and we all know how much ridgies love the rain! Then it did start to rain and Paul headed home on his motorcycle (and arrived home safe & sound, but dripping wet) while we enjoyed Winner's steaks (Inja is a coursing machine!)

Happy Monday, All!
